Last week (or maybe 2 weeks ago) I posted on my confusion on whether or not to switch to Joomla or WordPress for my Tales of a Single Parent blog. Well, I am still confused. Sort of confused. I think I am leaning towards using Joomla to manage Tales of a Single Parent. It’s still a podcast, but I’ll also be adding video, parent resources, product reviews, news, contests and giveaways, so I need a space that will accommodate all of that. So, this week I have been looking for the ‘perfect’ Joomla template.
Speaking of Joomla templates, why is it so damn hard to find one I can download individually? Why must I be forced to join a Joomla templates club. It’s like they are holding the templates for hostage. Actually the idea is so gangsta, I wish I’d thought of it (missed the boat again).
Anyway, that is the latest on my Tales of a Single Parent construction project. Fingers crossed I’ll be able to get all this done and relaunch the site on May 1, 2008 (that’s my goal anyway). Wish me luck……

I want to change my Tales of a Single Parent blog. I am currently running it on Blogger, but quite frankly, I have grown very tired of Blogger which is why I moved this blog to WordPress (by the by, I absolutely love WordPress and am very happy I switched). I am not sure if I want to run Tales of a Single Parent on WordPress or Joomla.
I want to add video to the blog and more information as far as news, photos and resources, etc. It will still be the official blog for the Tales of a Single Parent podcast, so of course I’ll still be adding the audio from each show on the blog as well.
So, I just don’t know which platform I want to go with. More later on that. If anyone has any suggestions, leave a comment….

Ok, so I am 2 months behind on this Blog 365, but I am going to get in the game now. I am going to try to blog everyday until 2009. According to the rules, you don’t have to post to the same blog everyday and posting video does count (guess I can include all the seesmic videos I posted last night), so between Tales of a Single Parent, Fearless TEK, GeekyCyberMom, seesmic, Viddler and ustream;Â I should totally be able to blog (post) Â everyday for the rest of this year.
